Ahren spent her formative years living in an active volcano. There her family made collectible lava art. She studied rock collecting at the Sorbonne in France. There she met the love of her life-her pet pig Sybil. She returned to the states and started writing. She is happily married to a guy who used to live under a bridge and she met while pole-dancing. They have one amazing daughter.

Now, meet the real me. I’m a wife, mother, and full-time Human Resource Specialist. Living on the Florida coast, my family spends a lot time at the beach which is my favorite place to get lost in books. I started writing my first novel, Surrendering, in the spring of 2013 and have received incredible support from the Indie community. I walk between Blake and Nate and they start whistling. Then Finn and the others join in. Declan freezes mid-sip and his eyes bulge. I ignore everyone while I roll my eyes and laugh.

“Declan, man you must be crazy to let your girl outta the house in that get up. You’ll have to beat the guys away. If she were mine, I wouldn’t even let her go to the bathroom alone.”

I can’t help myself; I laugh at the thought of having an escort to the bathroom. “Shut up, Tripp. You’ve been to tons of concerts with me. You’ve never had to beat anyone away.”

“Baby Girl, we never had to beat them away because we shielded you. Besides, no one was going to mess with a guy like Finn standing as bodyguard. You have a guy now so we’re handing the job off to him.”

This is not going well. Declan hasn’t said anything yet, but he’s still staring at me. He finally says, “No need to worry, Tripp. Rave’s going to change into something you can’t see her ass in.”

Nope, not gonna happen. “I’m not changing again.” I turn and go towards the kitchen to grab a drink and I feel him right behind me. I don’t even get the refrigerator door open before he wraps his arms around me and cages me in.

“You are going to go back to your room and put on something cute and frilly with enough fabric to cover your ass when you bend over.”

“No, Declan, I’m not. You didn’t like my pants so I decided on a skirt. Get over it.”

“You do realize you’re wearing fuck-me boots?”

I shrug; I’m not getting into this with him again.

He gets so close that I can lick his lips. I can practically taste him and it’s a complete turn on. “Okay, Sparkle, we can play this game. You wear this outfit and I stand guard all night knowing that guys are staring and imagining you naked. But when we get home, I’m going to fuck you so hard you’ll feel it tomorrow. Is that what you want?”

I turn into a complete wanton. “Why wait until we get home? One of the reasons I wore this skirt is easy access.”

His eyes light up and he seems to understand what I’m saying. “Fucking shit! I’m fucking whipped. Let’s get out of here before I get my ass kicked by your brother for taking you on the kitchen counter.”

J. Lynn has done it again.

After a disappointing read with Frigid, I am so damn happy to get this book. Trust in Me is Wait for You from the delectable Cam's perspective. It was exactly what I expected it to be: undeniably romantic, sexy as hell, hilarious and heart-warming. I loved seeing the world through Cam's eyes.

I am so fucking glad that I landed a spot on this tour. I love love love J. Lynn and I definitely loved Wait for You and so reading this book? A FUCKING PLUS. I've always loved a book from the guy's point of view. It's refreshing and it gives us a chance to delve into a guy's mind.

Avery was, well, different for Cam. He usually has it so easy with girls throwing themselves at him but with Avery?

Avery ran again. And I had the craziest urge to give chase.

She's different and he knows it beforehand. He knew that she would be the one. I loved his description of Avery though.

Avery was such a mystery to me; a paradox of innocence and allure–a mystery I was determined to solve.

Damn, now those are some deep words.

Okay, let's start off with Cam. God, he is the cutest little fucking fucker. I want to pack him up and take him home with me. Not only is he smokin hot and possessive (totally my type of guy!), he freaking cooks. HE BAKES.

I sat the beer down on the counter and opened the oven door, inhaling the aroma of freshly baked chocolate-chip cookies. And not that premade crap. This shit was from scratch.And they would be banging.  

Oh Cam. Everything about him is just

Ugh, he is just so adorable. He is charming EFFORTLESSLY. That is so damn unfair.

"You've been checking me out, haven't you? In between your flaming insults? I feel like man candy."

He's also so damn sweet, I swear to God. Every time he says something super fucking romantic to Avery, I just faint.

"When it concerns you, it's never a waste of my time."

Dammit, Cam, just dammit. I love you okay. Take me home.

AND OLLIE SWEET JESUS YOU CANNOT FORGET OLLIE.

He took Raphael (Cam's turtle) out the door.

"Be free, little green buddy," he coaxed, kissing Raphael's shell. "Be free."

With Ollie around, you just can't stop laughing.

"Smile! It's like my two kids are going to prom. Putting this in my scrapbook. Have fun!"

Beautiful.  That was my first thought when I found my table at the Ad Execs quarterly dinner.  She wore a black strapless dress and exuded confidence from every part of her.  I nodded to her, but didn’t speak.  I really didn’t have much to say anyway. 

I couldn’t quit staring and had to excuse myself at one point to stand across the room and watch her.  It was a strange, unwelcome feeling I was having about this stunning woman. 

It had been five years….five years since Kristen…..and I still couldn’t move on.  That kind of hurt you just don’t get over so easily and I wasn’t even sure that I wanted to get over it.  But, here I was, completely intrigued and unable to stop thinking about Jen Bailey.

A slow smile crept across my face and he had one to match.  “Yeah.”  I whispered as he leaned in and ever so gently swept his lips across mine.  It was the sweetest, softest kiss and I wanted more, but he pulled his head back and whispered “Thank you” then quickly turned me around to face out to the crowd leaving my waist locked in this arms.

Jen Bailey looked just as beautiful as she did at dinner last night, but instead of a fancy dress, she was in jeans….’sexy as hell’ jeans.  I let my eyes roam her body since she had no idea I was looking at her.  Her long blonde hair was not as smooth as it was last night.  It was a little messy and looked good.  She was curvy where it mattered and not too thin.  Pretty damn perfect, actually.

I leaned against the bar and sipped my drink.  I hadn’t really noticed anyone but her until I saw none other than Jack Woods walking right behind her with his hand on her back.  Damn.

I'm a wife, a mom of three, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, a friend and a teacher. Now I can add writer to my list!  I've always loved to write and finally found the inspiration and support to put my first novel on display for others to read. 

I live near Austin, Texas with my family where I teach school and run around like crazy taking care of my crew.  I absolutely love to read and tend to totally ignore my 'near and dear' when I'm lost in a good book.  Put me on a beach somewhere with a great story and the whole world just disappears around me.

Loving Her is my second novel.   I'm working hard to continually improve my writing; hoping to make my stories better, my characters more loveable and my fans proud!
