Aaaah, another hot rockstar to add to my list of hot book boyfriends! Mal was fucking hilarious in Lick and so, for him to get his own book, I just screamed. He's just as adorably funny but this time, he's also a romantic. His connection with Anne was all over the place and they were so fucking cute together. Loved the characters, loved the book!
OHMYGOD MAL ERICSON!!! Sweet Jesus, this man made me (metaphorically) pee my pants like 200 times throughout this book.
“Why don’t you go ask her what her name is?” suggested Ben, patting him on the back.“Do I need to know her name?”“I’ve heard it helps.”“Maybe for you,” Mal scoffed. “I just call out my own name during sex.”
Mal, please. I just can't with you.
But anyway, Mal had problems and he needed an escape from all that. He had a lot of problems with his family and so, when he met Anne, it all changed. He changed. Well, some of him at least. He's still the same guy we all know and love. The texts he shared with Anne were so fucking funny oh my God.
And it's all different with Anne.
"You're good for me. You take me any mood I come in. I don't have to be always happy or on around you. You roll with any shit I say and give as good as you get. You don't let me push you around with it if it doesn't suit you and you haven't asked me to buy you a fucking thing."GOOOOD, THEY'RE SO CUTE TOGETHER.
And then Anne is the sweet one in this case. She's the sweeter one and she got screwed over. So when she met Mal, it's all different for her.
Life here and now with Mal was a roller coaster. Scary and elating. No amtter how strange the circumstances, I was going to enjoy this time.Ugh, too fucking adorable.
LOOOVED IT!!!
